How to Get a Fannin County Birth Certificate
Fannin County birth records can be requested in person or by mail. The office also accepts faxed requests, but payment must be mailed separately. In-person visits are the fastest way to get your record.
For in-person requests, go to Suite 300 at 800 E. 2nd Street in Bonham. Bring a valid photo ID and be ready to provide the full name on the birth record, date of birth, and names of the parents. Staff can issue a certified copy while you wait if the record is on file.
Mail requests should include a completed request form, a copy of your photo ID, and a check or money order. Make payment to the Fannin County Clerk. Who Can Request Fannin County Birth Records
